Each Golden Care location features a day health center where participants are transported in the morning and return home in the afternoon. During their visit, participants may:

• Take part in social and recreational activities

• Bathe or receive assistance with personal care

• Meet with physicians, nurses, or other IDT members

• Receive necessary treatments or therapies

• Enjoy a snack and lunch

On average, participants attend the center two to three times per week, though additional visits may be arranged as needed. The IDT determines the frequency of attendance based on each participant’s care requirements.
