Each Golden Care location features a day health center where participants are transported in the morning and return home in the afternoon. During their visit, participants may:

• Take part in social and recreational activities

• Meet with physicians, nurses, or other IDT members

• Enjoy a snack and lunch

On average, participants attend the center four to five times per week, though additional visits may be arranged as needed. The IDT determines the frequency of attendance based on each participant’s care requirements.
