    Cost of the PACE Program

Submitting an enrollment application for the PACE program is free of charge. All services provided by Golden Care through the PACE Program are fully covered by Medicare and Medicaid, with no copays or out-of-pocket costs for individuals eligible for both. Participants are only required to pay a premium if:

    • They are not eligible for Medicaid

    • They are not eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid, in which case the premium equals the combined Medicare and Medicaid amount

All healthcare services approved by the Interdisciplinary Team are included under the PACE Program. However, participants are responsible for the cost of any unauthorized or out-of-program services. Golden Care also provides Medicare Part D coverage for prescription medications. Please note, enrollment in a separate Medicare Advantage Plan will result in ineligibility for continued participation in Golden Care.
